Positive points:
* the web site sells art reproductions and that's a very good point to start with. The more players on this market, the merrier :-)* their design is very good: clear and nice "soft" colors.
* many affordable posters (below 10 EUR) with a possibility to transfer on canvas.
* offer of limited edition posters and prints which enables the purchase of high market value product.
* possibility of choosing frames.
Negative points:
* access to the hotline only in English (UK phone number) , which make the communication with the French public quite difficult.
* it is not clear how different their product categories are. Their classification doesn't make sense. If you choose a product in the category "photography", it is classified in another category (Art Prints for example). I wonder why such a classification.
* very limited customization possibilities (you can choose, if any, between 4 sizes and 3 printing materials).
¨* it is not obvious how large their catalog is (number of painters, number of posters, number of paintings...).
Nevertheless, it's a great market player with a positionning close to that of ART.COM (world's leader on this market that I will soon wirte a focus on) that gives anyone the possibility to decorate their walls with nice painting reproductions.
If you have ever bought on their web site, please share with us your experience.
As a Swede, I think that the Swedish site (easyart.se) works perfectly and that it's easy to navigate since it is divided into categories. The information is clear and it feels safe to buy art from this site. The negative aspect of it is that they don't make it obvious that they sell lithographies even though they have a large range of them. Another thing is that it sais "Poster" on all the pages where they sell artprints, which makes it confusing for the custome why these are more expensive than the posters, if you aren't observant. The products are, in that sence, in much higher quality than they seem to be on the site, which doesn't make sense.

I totally agree with you. We are not sure of the quality of the product that is purchased. I've never bought anything but I guess the quality is good.
Thanks for participating on theblog.
