The Affordable Art Fair will open end of May in Paris with more than 70 art galleries participating. This project was created 10 years ago in England. It's now the thrid edition in Paris.
The aim of the fair is to display a very large variety of contemporary paintings, art works and styles, and make it affordable to any visitor that would like to start a collection of contemporary art. Prices range from 100 EUR to 7.000 EUR (editor's note: which is no longer "affordable" to my opinion).
Still making art affordable is a way to expand revenues for artists and it is to be integrated in a broader art marketing strategy as my post on the three-tier approach puts it.
The fair is taking place between the 27th and 30th of May. I won't be able to attend the show, but I wonder: will there be giclée art prints for sale?
If you have the answer, please let me know.
